Cheyenne.zip ( see files below ) is a package containing the Cheyenne web server for windows and a demo file showing a connection to the Synapse EMR database.

To run this, unzip the files in a directory on the same computer running Synapse-server.exe.  Now edit the httpd.cfg file so that the second remr in this line

    databases [ remr odbc://remr ]

corresponds to the system DSN for the Firebird ODBC connection.  So, if this happens to be my-remr, then change this line to say

databases [ remr odbc://my-remr ]

Now run the Cheyenne.exe file by double clicking on it.  If there are no errors reported, you can now try and bring up the demo page like this in your browser ( on the same PC )

http://127.0.0.1

which should give you a few statistics about your synapse installation.

We can build a complete web portal for you, and require the following information:

  • Name ( to be used for contact purposes on the portal main page )
  • Contact telephone number ( for patients to use if there are problems )
  • Business Name ( used on the front page and news page )
  • Full path to the cache-listener directory

The demo above is to confirm that the web server will work for you.  It has been tested under Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows 2003 as a Vmware image.  It may not work under other virtual PCs.

The customized web server can be purchased for a one time price of US$299.  Use the Paypal buy now button.
